In a recent interview with Sway Calloway, Eminem confirmed that he started the recent of beef with MGK after the latter rapper’s perceived diss on Tech N9ne’s “No Reason (The Mosh Pit Song).” Although MGK’s mention of Eminem’s daughter set things off, he hadn’t planned on acting right away.
“People start hitting me up. ‘Yo, Machine Gun Kelly just dissed you.’ … I listen to it, I’m like, ‘Did he really diss me, though?’ I keep listening to it, ‘Y'all rap, you’re not gods,’ and then somebody sends me a screenshot of his Twitter and it says, ‘Had to get some shit off my chest. On Eminem’s Kamikaze track “Not Alike,” he references the time Kelly called Hailie “hot as fuck” when she was only 16 years old:
